Nida Home

About us

Nida Home wasn't born in a marketing office. It was born in a living room, out of a frustration you may know all too well.

It all started with a real need

We wanted to put our phones down. Not give up technology — we wanted to stay modern — but break that absurd reflex: unlocking your phone to check the prayer time, and getting swallowed by notifications, messages, endless scrolling. The tool meant to remind us of the essential was pulling us away from it.

What we were looking for didn't exist: a spiritual companion for the home, an all-in-one place where prayer times, the adhan, the Quran and the Hijri date live together — visible to the whole family, with no screen to unlock and no distraction.

The first version: a tablet… and its limits

So we built our app and installed it on a regular tablet. On paper, it worked. In real life, much less so.

A tablet isn't made to stay on and plugged in 24/7: power consumption was high, and the battery — under constant strain — eventually started to swell. And let's be honest: a lit-up tablet sitting in a living room, with its gadget look, is anything but beautiful. We wanted an object you admire, not a device you tolerate.

So we rethought everything

Rather than forcing a device that was never meant for this, we decided to have our own produced: a display designed from day one to live in a home.

  • No battery — it stays plugged in, draws very little power (less than an internet router) and knows no wear or swelling: it is built to last.
  • Designed for your interior — matte white finish, clean logo-free front, freestanding or wall-mounted like a frame.
  • An app that keeps improving — we keep developing it: new themes, new reciters, new features, as free updates.

That story — a real need, an imperfect first attempt, a fully rethought product — is what makes Nida Home what it is today.

Designed in France, with high standards

Nida Home is imagined and developed in France by an independent team. Every detail matters: the accuracy of prayer times, the beauty of a sky that changes with the real weather, the reliability of a device that runs 24/7 with no noise, no ads and no subscription.

And because an object that lives in your living room must respect your privacy, Nida Home carries neither camera nor microphone. By design.

Our commitments

  • Serenity first — a refined design that embellishes your interior instead of cluttering it.
  • Respect for your practice — configurable calculation methods, authentic adhan, schedulable Quran recitation.
  • Respect for your privacy — no camera, no microphone, no needless data collection.
  • A product that lasts — no battery to wear out, and free updates that make it better year after year.
  • Support in French and English — a question, an issue? A real person answers.

Welcome home. Welcome to Nida Home.
