Setup & use

Is installation complicated?

No. Plug the display in and it turns on automatically. Choose your city and preferences directly on the touchscreen in a few minutes. No app or account required.

Do I need an internet connection?

Wi-Fi powers real-time weather and updates. Prayer times, adhan and recitations work even offline.

Is there a subscription?

No. You buy the display once and everything is included. No subscription, no ads, no in-app purchases.

Can it be wall-mounted?

Yes. Nida Home stands on its included stand, or mounts on the wall with the wall mount supplied in the box.

Prayers & adhan

Are the prayer times reliable?

Prayer times are calculated precisely for your city. You can pick the calculation method that matches your practice and your local mosque.

Can I choose the adhan voice?

Yes. Several authentic voices are included — Alafasy (Makkah, Dubai), Abdul Basit, Ahmad Al Nafees… — with per-prayer volume control and silent mode.

Can I schedule Quran recitation?

Yes. Plan recitations whenever you wish — morning, evening, Friday — with the reciter you prefer, and Nida Home takes care of it.

Nida Iqra & Nida Kids modes

What is the Nida Iqra mode?

An immersive Quran reading mode: the text appears word by word, synced with the voice of a real reciter (Mishary Alafasy), with golden highlighting and subtitles in your language. Ideal for reading, following along and memorising.

What is the Nida Kids mode?

A learning space for children: stories of the prophets, everyday du'a, good manners, the beautiful names of Allah… narrated in the child's language. New content is added regularly.

Are Iqra and Kids included or paid?

Both modes are included with the display, with no subscription or extra purchase. New Kids content arrives free via updates.

Can my child use it safely?

Yes. The Kids mode is controlled by the parent from the remote: the child doesn't need to touch the wall display. And like all of Nida Home, there is no camera or microphone.

Can I control the display from my phone?

Yes, thanks to the phone remote. Nothing to install: open a simple web page from your phone connected to the same Wi-Fi, and you control the whole display — settings, recitations, adhan, the Iqra and Kids modes. Simple and instant.

Religious content & sources

Where does the Quran text come from?

The Arabic text (114 surahs, 6,236 verses) uses the reference Uthmani text via Quran.com, in the calligraphy of the King Fahd (KFGQPC) edition of Madinah. The translations are the work of identified translators: Hamidullah (French), Saheeh International (English), Diyanet (Turkish), Bubenheim & Elyas (German).

Are prayer times reliable without internet?

Yes. They are calculated directly on the device using recognised methods (Muslim World League, ISNA, UOIF, Umm al-Qura, Egypt, Diyanet…), configurable for your location. No connection is needed to display them.

Why isn't all the content translated into every language?

By choice of rigour. When no reliable, sourced translation exists for a language, we prefer to leave the field empty rather than show approximate text. What the display shows is always authentic.

Where can I see your sources in detail?

On our Authenticity & sources page, which documents the origin of every piece of content: Quran, hadiths, supplications, the 99 Names of Allah, adhan, reciters and prayer times.

Privacy & safety

Is there a camera or microphone?

No, by design. Nida Home has neither camera nor microphone: what happens in your home stays in your home.

Can the display stay on all the time?

Yes, it is built to run 24/7: silent, fanless, with controlled power consumption.

Payment

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, depending on the country of your PayPal account. At checkout, choose PayPal: eligible customers are offered an interest-free instalment plan — for example Pay in 3 in the United Kingdom, or Pay in 4 in France (4 × €99.75 for the €399 display). Approval is instant: no paperwork, no documents to provide.

Are there any fees or interest?

None. No set-up fees, no interest, and no late fees — PayPal has permanently removed them (official PayPal announcement). You pay exactly the displayed price, no more, no less — whatever happens.

What about riba?

That is precisely why we chose this solution: the buyer never pays a cent more than the price — no interest, no fees, no late penalties, even if something unexpected happens. PayPal is remunerated solely by us, the merchant, through its usual service commission, identical to that of a one-off payment. In which countries are instalments available?

The option depends on the country of your PayPal account, regardless of your delivery address:

• France: Pay in 4, fee-free (4 instalments over 3 months)
• Italy & Spain: pay in 3 instalments, fee-free
• United Kingdom: Pay in 3, fee-free
• Germany: pay within 30 days, fee-free

In other countries (Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands…), PayPal does not yet offer instalment payments: payment is made in one go, by card or via PayPal. If the option doesn't appear even though your country is listed above, PayPal hasn't made it available for your account on this purchase.

What are the shipping costs and times?

Standard shipping is free in metropolitan France (48 to 72 hours after dispatch, tracked). European Union, Switzerland & United Kingdom: €25. Nearby international (Norway, Iceland, Turkey, North Africa, non-EU Eastern Europe): €39. Rest of the world: €69. The exact rate is shown at checkout based on your delivery address.

How do I get the launch offer?

Nothing to enter: the launch price (€399 instead of €499) is applied automatically to your order, no code needed.

What if the display isn't right for me?

You have 14 days after delivery to change your mind, and the display is covered by the 2-year legal conformity warranty. See Shipping & returns.
