What is Nida Home?
Nida Home is an elegant display for the modern Muslim home. It shows prayer times, the adhan, Quran recitation, hadiths, the names of Allah, the weather and other helpful daily reminders.
Is it a regular tablet?
No. Nida Home is not a tablet: it is a fixed spiritual display designed to sit on a piece of furniture or be mounted on a wall. It runs from mains power and uses very little electricity; with no battery, there is no battery wear or swelling risk, making it especially durable. It brings together Nida Iqra, Nida Kids, prayer times, the Quran and everyday reminders, and keeps growing over time through new content and updates, with no subscription.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Nida Home works without a subscription and without monthly fees for the essential features.
Can the adhan be turned off?
Yes. You can enable, disable or mute the adhan as you prefer, and choose among several authentic muezzin voices.
Is there a camera or a microphone?
No. Nida Home has neither camera nor microphone and captures neither image nor sound from your home.
Does it use a lot of electricity?
No. Nida Home has no battery: it stays plugged in and draws very little power — less than an internet router. With no battery to wear out, replace or swell, it is designed to last for many years.
Are updates paid?
No. App updates are free: new themes, new reciters and new features arrive over time, at no extra cost. Your Nida Home gets better with the years.
Do you ship outside France?
Yes. Standard delivery is free in mainland France, and we also ship across the European Union and worldwide — shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
Can I control the display from my phone?
Yes. A remote opens straight from your phone — nothing to install, no app. Simply connect your phone to the same Wi-Fi as Nida Home, and you control the whole display remotely: recitations, adhan, themes, the Iqra and Kids modes.
What are the Nida Iqra and Nida Kids modes?
Two immersive spaces, included. Nida Iqra shows the Quran word by word, synced with the voice of a real reciter. Nida Kids is a children's space (stories of the prophets, du'a, good manners…) controlled by the parent from the remote. New Kids content is added regularly, for free.
Where does the religious content come from?
From recognised, verified sources — Quran.com, Sunnah.com, Diyanet, AlAdhan… — never from in-house writing. The details are on our Authenticity & sources page. And when no reliable translation exists, we prefer to leave the field empty rather than show approximate text.
